​What’s with them? It’s not just about the mask wearer, is it? Isn’t it about the people who can catch your god-awful virus if you’re carrying it around in your totally-unrestrained-right-to-do-whatever-you-feel-is-good-for- yourself body?

Sue and Buster and I are about to embark on a journey. We’re going to jump into the truck and drive to a side road. Then, while Sue and Buster have a merry ramble down the semi-paved road, I will be in a ditch picking up a number of dead bottles and cans. Tossed there by people who feel they have a right to litter the world with their disposable cans and bottles. They probably attend anti-not-being-able-to-litter-the-world rallies.

Speaking of anti-everything rallies, last week a fella drove up in an ATV. We talked for a few minutes and then he asked us a question. He didn’t ask Buster as, well, the topic wasn’t something that would apply to Buster. But if it did I think I know what side of the coin he would be on.

He asked us if we were rubber booters. We didn’t know what he meant. So he explained. They are tree huggers.

He asked us if we were against clear cutting. He's for it.

I would say this fella would attend anti-environmentally-responsible-tree-cutting rallies.

I answered his question. I said I could see some advantages to clear-cutting. It might be commercially more viable. That would be related to King Money. I didn’t think it was good for all the plants and animals that it was driving away or destroying. I’m sure he left us thinking that we were rubber booters. We actually have two pair of rubber boots and Sue wears hers all the time.

Now Buster has hinted that if he wants to act like a cat, then why can’t he?

There was an organization called The Society Against the Indecent Nakedness of Animals. They’d attend an against-bare-naked-animals rally.
